TEHRAN – A collection of photos of renowned filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami is scheduled to go on display in an exhibition, which will open at the Los Angeles branch of Seyhun Gallery on August 19.

The collection contains about 20 photos by Sasan Tavakoli-Farsani who collaborated with Kiarostami in some art projects, including “Persian Carpets”, “Forest without Leaves”, and “Seven Plane Trees”.

The exhibition will run until August 24.

Kiarostami, who was suffering from a severe gastrointestinal disease, died in a Paris hospital on July 4.
